Engineering and Design
Viking's first step in every project includes a thorough on-site evaluation of existing facilities, or a blueprint analysis for new construction. Our sales consultants and design specialists work closely with insurance companies and government agencies to develop a system that meets code and insurance requirements. They balance all design criteria with protection objectives, projected reductions in insurance costs, budget requirements and special environmental and material concerns.
After consulting with you, our project design department works to determine the best system configuration for your project. Our state-of-the-art CAD capabilities allow us to meet tight deadlines and maintain "fast track" installation schedules. Compatibility with the CAD building systems of architects and engineers allows us to utilize existing construction data to achieve an integrated, comprehensive and consistent design.
Installation
Viking's certified field technicians specialize in providing swift, efficient installation of your system. Each system is carefully tested so that you, your building official and your insurance company are satisfied. And if retrofitting is required, pre-assembly minimizes disruptions to your business activities.
Project Management
Viking Automatic Sprinkler Company maintains a staff of specialized Project Managers. These Project Managers will plan, organize, and manage your project to ensure that it comes in on-time and within budget, presenting a high quality of work.
Service
When a system requires service, we realize that quick response is important. That is why Viking maintains a large staff of specially trained service technicians who are on-call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Inspection
Each year, we perform thousands of inspections of new and existing systems to determine compliance with fire codes, insurance requirements and client needs. These inspections assure optimum system operation, response times, and proper operation of sprinkler heads and alarm systems. Importantly, confirming system integrity on a regular schedule may further reduce insurance premiums.
Building Retrofit
With the ever changing codes and the heightened awareness for the need of fire protection, there has been a call for retrofitting existing, occupied buildings. Viking will work closely with clients to minimize disruptions with work schedules and tenants. Also, with Project Managers on staff, we will be able to identify and solve problems in advance.
