The LPM Apartments in Loring Park is a 36-story luxurious high-rise with more than 41,000-square-feet of indoor and outdoor hotel-like amenities. Size is 585,000 gross square-feet, with 309,000 square-feet of residential area and approximately 20,000 square-feet of retail space. The building’s footprint resembles the shape of a football.

Scope:
750gpm fire pump feeding a combination of standpipes/sprinkler system
Separately controlled sprinkler systems on each floor

Unique Project Factor(s):
The floor cross main piping runs down a common corridor and the brand line piping runs in the apartment unit walls.

Using a three-man crew, installation of each floor piping took approximately four (4) days. They worked in open floor conditions, without building sides and in single digit temperatures with wind chills below zero.
